The “MULTILAYER” IMP.A.C. 23 AMY is suitable for activities with several production lines (2,3,4,) that work simultaneously with medium-low capacities. The MULTILAYER can absorb a maximum production of 1800 cartons/h and is equipped with the capacity of a trolley containing several pallets, a pallet for each production line. The plant is complete with cardboard layer accumulation conveyor belts. The cartons coming from the production lines are accumulated, each on the preset accumulation belt, until the number of cartons necessary to form the layer is reached. At this point the cartons are called by the palletizer and at the same time the corresponding pallet for the cartons to be palletized is positioned. The cartons are oriented according to the formation predisposed for that type of carton, and sent to the layer pre-forming area. The layer thus composed is transferred onto a platform equipped with vertical and horizontal movements, the first for searching and positioning the unloading layer, the second for transferring the layer onto the pallet. The cycle will repeat itself until the completion of each pallet that will be evacuated and replaced, to start a new cycle. All the synchronisms of the movements are coordinated by a programmable modular system (PLC). The machine can be programmed to pallet simultaneously cartons of different sizes, formations and numbers of layers, each on the dedicated pallet.
